Silicon Literary Club is a student-run society that aims to provide a platform for students to express their thoughts and ideas through various literary activities. The literary club events are organized to give the students literary exposure and to enhance their literary skills in a technical discipline. While hard skills are essential for a successful career, soft skills are equally important. The club aims to provide a platform for students to enhance their soft skills and to give them a platform to showcase their literary talents. Model United Nations is a flagship event of the club that is organized every year where students can showcase their diplomatic skills and knowledge about international affairs. The event is organized by the club members.

GROUP DISCUSSION PRELIMS
The first day of the conference will be dedicated to the Group Discussion Prelims. The delegates will be divided into groups and will be given a topic to discuss. Top candidates from each groups will be selected for the further rounds. In total 25 candidates will be selected from this round.

ALLOTMENT OF COUNTRIES TO SELECTED CANDIDATES
The next day, the selected candidates will be alloted countries that they will be representing on a random basis. The country that they receive will be their country for the rest of the conference.

Preparation and research. Crafting the position paper
The delegates will have to research about the country that they have been alloted and the topic that they will be discussing. They will have to prepare a position paper that will be submitted to the executive board.

Briefing the House (Moderated Caucuses)
The first round of the conference is the briefing of the house. The delegates will be given a chance to present their position papers and will be given a chance to speak about the topic that they will be discussing.

Open House (Unmoderated Caucuses)
In the second round, delegates can ask questions to each other and engage in debates and discussions. They can pass motions and engage in debates.

Jury’s Shoot
In the final round, the jury will take the privilege to ask questions to the delegates. The delegates have to answer their questions.
